I have access to a press which make fitting easy. Made the mistake last time of ordering 1st set of bearings listed on Web site, however there are 2 sizes, make sure you check which you need. I did get them replaced without too much trouble. Bearings have lasted about 3 years but obviously washing machine as a unit is now ageing. If I get another couple of years out of it I'll be happy.

Bearings and seal matched original perfectly. Knocked old bearings out with advice from demo video on the web site for supporting tub to avoid damaging, very informative. One word of advice, the shaft will retain a metal dished washer that comes out of the middle of the seal, this must be removed by prizing it off the shaft as there is a new one fitted to the new seal. Also use a small amount silicon sealant along with the rubber seal to joint the two halves of the tub together. Belt and braces, as i used original seal, which was fine. Jobs a good un. Saved a fortune, only took a couple of hours to reassemble. :-)
  • A good purchase.

I feel I should bring to your attention when fitting this bearing and seal kit it was necessary for me to remove a spacer from the washing machine drum shaft as the seal, part of the kit supplied, was a different shape to the removed original. Hope this info will be of use.
