We bought this product to descale our kettles and coffee machines at home and 2 churches. It is very easy to use and very successful but an extra boil out to get rid of the product does not go amiss

Have tried it in kettle and it worked 100%. Not so sure on efficiency with iron but it may be that we are in a very hard water area and it will take two treatments.

We would advise when de scaling to use a specific descaling product as Vinegar may cleat the deposit but may 'taint' the coffee. Always refer to your appliances instruction book when possible for details on de scaling.

if you are not sure what kind of descaler to use, I suggest you use half white vinegar and half water. Only 2/3 fill the water reservoir as it may bubble over when heated. Just run it through with no coffeee in it - only water and vinegar. Then rinse with cold water. Then run with clean cold water twice more without coffee before using for real.

You can carefully mix a soloution of this product and pour into a plastic bag before fitting the bag over the head and leaving for a while to work. Then rinse and wipe with cold water.

Empty the tank before filling it with the descaling fluid mixed to the correct strength and follow the information on the product. once steamed through onto an old towel to clear the jets then let cool and clear the tank and refill before pumping out any fluid in the hoses onto an old towel.
