have you got a user manual and trouble shooter this model have already dealt with e-spares very satisfied re vax cleaner

The brushbar on your model is powered by its own motor that is switched off when the cleaner is upright in the parked position. check the switch is not stuck or blocked as it is the most likely cause of the problem. You can also check the motors resistance to confirm if it has gone open circuit.
