    Suitable for other models

I have a Bosch Rotak 40 lawnmower but this model (3600H81270) is not listed as suitable for this switch. I took a chance and it works fine. I found that by carefully prising off the switch cover on the old switch, it was easy to remove the cables without cutting them off and subsequently re-soldering them.

If the wire is stripped then twisted and tinned with solder all along the exposed copper is should then push into the switch correctly.

Answer this question

The switch does not have screws to fix the wires as one would normally expect.

  • the wires you just have to push them in the correct place as the others, was fitted if you cut the wires from the other switch it would be best to solder the ends before fitting them as it would be a lot easier. By vas - Middlesex - 22 June 2011
