If you're having problems with the lock on your machine then this 16 amp interlock could be just the spare for you.

How to fit the door interlock:

  • 1. Remove door seal retaining spring
  • 2. Peel back door seal
  • 3. Unscrew the two retaining screws
  • 4. Slide out, unplug cable and replace with new one
  • 5. Refit door seal

Machine been working fine - now won't switch on when pressing the on button. Power checked ok at the mains socket, fuse checked and replaced (wasn't that). Would a fault with the door switch cause this problem.

    It is possible this problem could be caused by other components but it is the obvious part to start with and will usually resolve the fault.
