    Thanks to a previous reviewer I was able to obtain a Long Offset Torx Key Set whilst awaiting delivery of the Housing Cover. You need the T20 Torx to dismantle the old Cover and refit the new one. So easy when you have the proper tool. The only drawback with this item is the price but that is presumably Bosch's fault. I applaud eSpares for stocking this rare item: their service is exemplary.

    This was a direct replacement for my broken Bosch original and is a genuine Bosch part. It is quite pricey for what it is but I do now have in effect a new machine so no problem really. It is attached to the body of the machine by 6 Torx screws a screwdriver for which may not be in everybody's toolkit. I was lucky in having one that fitted. Apart from the type of screw it is easy to fit.

      I had same problem but since the description was accurate then I took a chance. It is the whole of the black top - where you feed the branches in - on the Bosch shredder. Only thing is you need a "star" bit to unscrew the holding screws.
