The debris bag clip has been improved. From a plastic unit to a two part clip operation. I received the bag in quick time. Thankyou

Much better fitting than the original bag. The catch is spring loaded on the new bag, where on the original, the plastic very soon lost its ability to hold the bag in place, resulting in a shower of leaf particles spraying over you when using the hoover. Makes using almost a pleasure now, though always glad when all the leaves have fallen!!!

Much better bag than original item as catch is now spring loaded. Only negative is the price, but better than buying a whole new item & causing more waste. Would deffo recommend if you need a new bag & don't mind paying a little extra.

  • Q Is there supposed to be a gasket of some form to seal the bag around it's rim? 1 Answer

The m/c belongs to my neighbour and a relative has been using the m/s in the past. The bag does not have any form of sealing at present and when in use the debris flies out of the back of the upper part of the bag. I am wondering if he has lost the seal whilst emptying the bag. I would be grateful for any info on this.

The bag has an integral seal. I have just purchased a replacement bag and this one has a spring loaded catch which holds the bag in position. The original had a flimsy catch which when in use, the pressure in the bag caused the bag to move away from the seal. This new bag and clip holds it in position. Hope this helps.
