Description

If your fridge/freezer door hangs low or isn't closing properly, it's time to replace the hinges. This replacement hinge is compatible with select Ariston, Creda, Hotpoint, Hygena, Indesit, New World and Servis fridges.

Does not include fittings

eSpares tip: We recommend that you replace the Upper Right/Lower Left Hinge at the same time. Replacing only one hinge may cause unnecessary wear on the new hinge.

Bought the matching pair as recommended as the spring in the bottom one of my fridge had broken. Very expensive in my view for what they are, and they only last about 5 years before the spring snaps. That said espares is the cheapest I could find by a pound or two. The unit itself is very heavy duty but the important part, the spring, is less so and snaps with time - on third set now. The poor quality rating is because - 1. The spring breaks in 4 to 5 years and they need to be replaced. 2. The spring on this new set are not as powerful as the 2 earlier ones. The door now only shuts on the spring when an inch or two from closed. The others pulled the door shut when left over a foot ajar. Very easy to fit though, with no adjustments to make.

This hinge broke after thirteen months of light use. Possible quality issues as the original one lasted six years.
