- you have to reuse your old buttons by simply pulling them off the old p c b and pushing them on to your new switches they are a tight fit so be careful not to break them.
- Pull off from the other unit and place onto the new unit
- the chrome buttons just pull off the original with a careful pull and they push onto the new one easily
- The silver buttons are not included. You need to take them off the old unit and push them on the new one. Easiest bit of the job.

Hi Yiddo With this part there are four switches. One for the lamp and three for speed (the lowest one incorporating on/off). I hope this helps!
do you need to remove the whole cooker hood for this to take place model no.

It may be possible to remove in situ however we would recommend removing the hood as it will be a lot easier to work on.
My cooker hood fan has stopped. The lights on the hood operate OK when I press the specific switch button. The other switches for the cooker fan do not produce a result. And the small red indicator light on the switch panel does not illuminate. I know this is guesswork, does the switch tend to fail more readily or could it be the fan motor. I suspect the switch mainly because the red indicator light will no longer illuminate regardless of whether the lights or the fan switches are pressed.

Your fault description does tend to suggest the problem is likely to be the switch rather than the motor.
