    striped fan out of oven to find i did not nead a new one a wire was off the old one but i now have a spare just in case thanks for your speedy response would recomend to anyone (goldwing)

    easy to fit cheap job done. just remember you need a 4mm tap get one from elec wholesalers dead easy. connections on back just push fit. middle one is earth don't get them mixed up... cheers

  • Q I've got a Kenwood CK 410, I've taken off the fan cover and found that it looks as if the element has been screwed on from behind the oven wall. How do I deal with that? any ideas welcome! 1 Answer

      I'm afraid you have to pull the cooker out. Isolate it from the mains - Trip switch in the consumer unit is the best way . Take the small self tappers from the back cover , then remove the back cover. The spade connections can be removed and one self tapper on the heater base the heater pops out fron the inside - reverse proceedure to instal - simples
