Had to phoen espares as the model I needed to fix was not in their on line database. The correct part came promptly and it fitted. These are not very easy to fit but the only thing I could have faulted it for was that I had to tap out the fixing holes with a self tapping screw BEFORE I put it in position.

Product looks much like original. Only problem fitting was that element terminal plate was not tapped as original so had to drill out and fit through bolts and nuts. Could do with another pair of hands! Help is advisable. Tested and satisfactory. So far, so good.

  • Q I've got a Kenwood CK 410, I've taken off the fan cover and found that it looks as if the element has been screwed on from behind the oven wall. How do I deal with that? any ideas welcome! 1 Answer

I'm afraid you have to pull the cooker out. Isolate it from the mains - Trip switch in the consumer unit is the best way . Take the small self tappers from the back cover , then remove the back cover. The spade connections can be removed and one self tapper on the heater base the heater pops out fron the inside - reverse proceedure to instal - simples
