Fitted to Candy oven F132/3, cheaper than original part, fits ok just need to drill out two fitting holes to slightly larger diameter. Rated above original 2200W but am happy higher rating ok.

Tenant reported oven not working. Looked up e-spares and found the part, found a how-to fit video, and ordered this element, which arrived within a couple of working days. It was cheaper than the manufacturer's part, but was easy to fit and the oven is now working. The only issue, as mentioned by another reviewer, was that the screw holes to attach it are not threaded, so the screws which came out wouldn't go back in. I got round it by using two of the umpteen self-tapping screws holding on the back panel.

A really good quality element which fitted relatively easily. Be warned for our Kenwood Range cooker you have to remove the back panel and I had to use a Tap to create threads in the element bracket as it is plain drilled. Not difficult for a reasonable DIY'er however if you think it's a quick job from the front of the overn you may be disappointed!

  • Q We are replacing our element which went this week. The current one states it is 230v and this one is 250v. Is this a major issue or is it a suitable replacement? 1 Answer

The UK mains voltage is 240 volts. Providing this fits it will be suitable.

  • Q I've got a Kenwood CK 410, I've taken off the fan cover and found that it looks as if the element has been screwed on from behind the oven wall. How do I deal with that? any ideas welcome! 1 Answer

I'm afraid you have to pull the cooker out. Isolate it from the mains - Trip switch in the consumer unit is the best way . Take the small self tappers from the back cover , then remove the back cover. The spade connections can be removed and one self tapper on the heater base the heater pops out fron the inside - reverse proceedure to instal - simples
