Part was very easy to fit, You need to be careful not to turn the spindle when old knob is removed. I found it easier to put a pencil mark on outer dial and m/c casing.

Difficulty is finding what has gone wrong in the first place, as the part seems to be well hidden away, if you are unfamiliar with taking apart Zanussi timer knobs. But part ordered and fitted within days. Easier and cheaper than any other solution.

The design of this timer knob from new means that it will be prone to breakages. You can still use the washing machine by fiddling around with pliers etc, but why not just fit the replacement part? It takes five minutes, and you re-use the outer knob, thereby saving yourself some money. Easy!!
