I purchased a branded washing machine paddle for my aged machine, my purchase arrived the day after ordering, the quality was excellent and value for money. fitting took a matter of seconds. I like the idea of online fitting instructions for parts bought although I didn't need it this time. From the overall service I received and the product quality I would have no hesitation in shop with e spares again.

please advise where this part can be found on a indesit wg820.The drum of the washing machine is making a grinding noise and it appears to be slumped forwards.

This part is inside the washing machine where your clothes go, replacing this will not prevent the drum from slumping forwards.

This is one of the drum paddles that pads your washing around to help clean it. It is on the inside of the drum, there are normally 3 or 4. You know, the bits you push to spin the drum to check for odd shrivelled up socks.

Hi Mimi I can't match the WG820 exactly in our database of Indesit washing machines, as there is several WG820s, each followed by a different letter. If you could double check your washing machine for the model number we would be happy to find the right drum lifter for you. • Q How do I choose the version 2 Answers

Hi, I have a WD440P but I am still puzzled as to how to choose the version. My drum paddles have same sized holes and 2 of the paddles have pips at the front, but strangley the one that is broken does not (either at the front or the back). I have had this from new and its not been repaired before. So do I buy v3 or v2?

try feeling the back of the drum lifter, they can be put on the wrong way round.

i would buy version 3 seen as two of your drum lifters have the three pips

  • Q I am checking the part i need for a hotpoint aquarius washing machine to replace a detached drum lifter 2 Answers

The model is just over three years old. The existing drum lifter is blue and has three pips at the front. I am confused as to whether I need a metal clip to fit a replacement as it looks like plastic locators have broken off original part. Also all holes along top are same size with a slightly wider gap between hole three and four. DRG no on inside of original is 230006680

    by Harryb123 - 22 December 2008

    • A

The metal clip is part of the washing machine drum, it is not a separate part.

You need version 3. I was confused in exactly the same way as you. All the plastic locators had snapped off mine too. The key is the fact that it has 3 pips at the front. The replacement will slide and click into place no problem. See my review of this part.

  • Q Not sure how to fit the paddles 1 Answer

I have a paddle that has three sets of holes on one side (machine Hoover nextra8) I have looked at the tutuorial that you have on line but can not seem to get the old paddle out, it would appear that there is a small screw holding it in place by the drum, could you tell me how to get to this screw. Thank you Julie
