  The HEPA filter was a bit pricey but considering it is the first replacement my Dyson has had then maybe it is worth it. The cleaner now picks up, so the filter works brilliantly. I had considered outing the cleaner but this was a far better option.

• Q No seal with hepa filter ? 1 Answer

  Why does this come without an attached seal when it is so important to the function of the machine, and why is it not integral, surely the extra cost is neglible.

    Hi Malcolmx, I'm inclined to agree that the seal should be included with this seal, however Dyson supply the parts separately and we sell them as such.

    The HEPA filter doesn’t come with a seal but I would recommend that you buy the new seal as well – it’s only £2.79. Search ES104853 for the HEPA Filter Vacuum Seal to go with this filter. On mine, the seal has fused itself to the old filter and just disintigrates as I try and seperate it. I've now got to wait for the new seal to arrive. (Filter arrived the day after I ordered it though, so absolutely no complaints with eSpares)
