  what a fantastic microwave plate, it rotates and stops food and crockery from touching the base- astonishing!

• Q I have ordered and received this plate, which fits well, but when I set anything on it, it doesn't turn. Seems the plate is too heavy. Should I order a different plate? 1 Answer

  It turns fine when nothing is sitting on the plate, and the microwave has been very lightly used till now so I don't think it's the turning mechanism that is faulty. Any advice would be much appreciated!

    Hi Kathy, a strange problem... if your model number is listed in the 'Fits the following appliances' section, this shouldn't happen. I'd check the roller ring for damage. The roller ring being the smaller circular part with wheels on that sits below the turntable. Best of luck!

  I have a microwave model MT07 (Tescos I think) which needs a turntable of exactly the same diameter. Will this fit it as a repacement?

    We usually advise that parts are replaced by model specific parts. Though the turntable should fit your appliance, it may not work with and turn in the microwave. Going to Tesco first to see if they can replace it is probably your best bet.
