espares service and delivery excellent as usual. Not the cheapest on the web but at least these spares were in genuine Karcher packaging whereas some suppliers were splitting the pack and selling the 'O' rings and retainers separately. There are also instructions on the bubble pack that describe exactly where each 'O' ring and retainer fits on the pressure washer. I found this quite useful. The problem I had was a severe leak from the T50 patio brush. I found that the yellow retainer had come out of the T50 and positioned itself on the extension tube. This allowed the 'O' ring to eventually fall out of the T50. I did find a suitable 'O' ring before ordering the spares set but had to apply some silicon grease to make sure that the yellow retainer stayed put on the T50. The yellow retaining plug is a bayonet fit; the new plugs will fit more tightly in the T50 although I haven't had to use it yet. I've only maked value down one point as 'O' rings are simply not this expensive although, I admit there are vast differences in the qaulity of these products that are not apparent until you start using them [:-)

I needed one o ring for my lance however I thought it a wise move to get a replacement pack just incase and I was glad I did as other ones needed replacing once the machine put out full power again, They come on a card with a diagrame showing exactly where they fit which was realy handy, a fast efficient no messing service from espares.

  • Q I have a K399 when I switch it on it surges until I press the trigger on the gun. 1 Answer

Hi Crippen sounds like you have a fracture in the control head as I did, this opens when the machine builds up presure and then releases it through the fracture, it is likely the fracture is under the metal head plate used to secure the unit head hence you cant see it, I know your post is long ago but this may help others as when I read the posts on the espares site it was no end of help to me. If the seals are ok on everything else I suggest replacing the control head housing.

  • Q Red 'O' Ring on hose to trigger connection 1 Answer

The red 'O' ring seems to be very thin in comparison to the collar on the hose to trigger gun fitting and there is a lot of movement, is this correct?
