Bought this hoping it did what it said on the tin, not sure it does, still getting the odd whiff from strong smelling food in the fridge.

Q When I open the fridge door you get a smell of rotting vegetables. I have cleaned the inside of the fridge thoroughly. 2 Answers

  check the condensate drain hole at the back of the fridge where the water collects. there is a tube that runs down the back to a water trap mounted on the compressor to be evaperated off. it is possibly this tube that is growing mould, a bit like how a bad smell can eminate from a plughole in the kitchen sink. not sure what the best option to clean this would be, either a very long pipecleaner or maybe flush through with something. be sure to pull the fridge out if you flush it through to be able to empty the water trap (it can overflow) hope this helps
