  Couldn't buy springs on their own so had to buy hinge kit with springs attached. Fitted them myself - much cheaper than calling in an engineer. Product seemd strong and robust. No real problems fitting to Tricity Bendix dishwasher but looked on web for help.

  Hinges arrived on time and well packed as others have reported. I followed chk905 review for fitting and just took my time no problems all reasonably straight forward. Probably took and hour and half which included sorting out the sticking handle on the door catch (clean and silicon spray). Great service and web site by e-spares

  Hinges arrived well packed and in good time. Fitting was a major mission as I'm a techie guy, not a appliance DIY person. It took me close to two hours. Advice to other beginners: Look and plan before started to disassemble anything. Keep screws together in sets and sets isolated from each other. Good luck!

    Hi Mjt54 Unfortunately the spring in this hinge is not sold as a separate part to the hinge kit. Electrolux only manufacture the part in one piece and therefore must be sold as such. Apologies, and happy new year to you too!

  How do you take the door off? at the moment when my door is down it can not bear weight, and will just drop with out having any resistance. will these new hinges solve my problem? Regards Gary.

    Hi Stato Without actually seeing your dishwasher, it is impossible to tell what is causing this problem. What I would advise is talking to your local dishwasher specialist and they should be able to diagnose the problem for you. And that's where we come in!
