  The assembly is well put together and should last a long time. The reason it was replaced was because the pin had loosened in the oven allowing it to damage the original roller assembly. Care should be taken to ensure the pin is both tightened correctly and the length is adjusted to pull the door tight on to the sealing rubber and therefore locating correctly into the roller assembly. As long as you are reasonably confident and have the tools to remove the oven door to disassemble it to change the roller assembly, it is a straightforward job. To sum up the items are well made and straightforward to fit.

  I have a Rangemaster double oven and one of the doors has been popping open for months - it just wouldn't stay closed. I finally got round to having a look at the problem and saw that I probably needed a new door catch. I ordered the spare part from espares and it came really quickly. It was very easy to fit the part and I now have two oven doors which stay shut. Very pleased with this purchase.

  for example i am not sure how to take off the oven door or get to the old broken catch

    Hi stuart, this part doesn't come with instructions, but it's not too hard to fit. Check out this video for help removing your oven door: http://www.espares.co.uk/advice/cookers-and-hobs/a/1/1151/how-to-repair-an-oven-door.html - the oven in the video is a different model to yours, but the process will be fairly similar. As for replacing the catch, it's a simple screw in, screw out scenario.
