  Excellent product expertly picked by me :-) it fitted very well and does the job for which it was intended but then it is only a bulb. The only thing that could be improved upon is speed of despatch/delivery. Other than that full marks to all involved - I can now see my hob again, thanks! From the proud owner of a 40 Watt Cooker Hood Lamp!

  I bought 4 to be sure... Just as well. One didn't work at all and the other went smokey and died in about 10 seconds.

• Q Do you have to use these lamps or can you use normal 40watt light bulbs? Thanks 1 Answer

    Hi Shep0105 Only specialised light bulbs can be used in cooker hoods for two reasons - the heat that is radiated up from the hobs would destroy regular light bulbs, and they are too large.
