A selection of Smeg appliances have been chosen to tempt buyers into investing in a new rural property development, according to reports.
Easier states that this week will see a viewing and picnic event at the West Sussex luxury development - The Orchard - and that the agency behind the initiative is hoping the Italian manufacturer will play a significant role.
Jeremy Marcus, sales and marketing director of Higgins Homes, said: "The summer picnic at The Orchard will be a fun way for families to enjoy the summer and also view one of the three stylish show homes."
In news which may be of interest to those shopping for Smeg parts and spares, the manufacturer's ovens, hobs, fridge-freezers, dishwashers and washer dryers have been selected for the 176-property's "stylish designer Urban Myth kitchen".
Following viewings, visitors will be invited to take part in a nearby picnic where the 40th anniversary of Disney's Chitty Chitty Bang Bang will be celebrated with an appearance by a replica of the film's automotive star.
Smeg's range of fridge-freezers made their own movie appearance in the 2006 action movie and graphic novel adaptation, V For Vendetta.
