Sleeping bags 'tumble dryer friendly'

15/07/2008
Those considering tumble dryer spares have been advised that their machines should be able to cope with sleeping bags.

According to an article for the Olympian this week, many people believe that they need to take their soiled sleeping bags to the dry cleaner, but this is not the case.

It notes that careful handwashing can be followed by air drying, but adds that as long as the load is monitored there should be no problem using your tumble dryer.

"If you use a tumble dryer, set it at low heat and monitor the process. Overheating can cause melting," the article states.

The advice could be good news for many looking at tumble dryer spares as the summer festival season is now in full swing and more people could be considering breaks in the UK due to the current economic climate.

Such products available through eSpares currently include the hinged filter - available in grey - and the drum shaft kit.
