Stainless steel kitchen appliances 'can look inviting'

01/07/2008
There are a number of ways to make your kitchen appear more inviting while still having stainless steel appliances, according to one expert.

In an article for the HGTV Kitchen Design website, Rose Kennedy advises that those looking to make improvements to their kitchen need not worry that silver appliances lock them into a certain style.

She notes that by working around the appliances, consumers can still have a warm and inviting look to the kitchen.

Mark White, a certified kitchen designer for Kitchen Encounters, told the site that he was a fan of such appliances as they are neutral and can be used with a number of colour and style combinations.

"[Stainless-steel] even makes stuff that's not pro equipment look clean and professional, since that's what we're used to seeing in restaurant kitchens," he said.

The comments could inspire those looking for oven spares to consider items such as a stainless steel outer door, as this could bring a whole new look to an existing appliance.
