Whirlpool comes to the rescue of US school

A US school is celebrating the installation of a Whirlpool washer dryer, according to reports.
RTOonline.com states this week that as part of Ohio state's Random Acts of Caring initiative, Rent-A-Centre chose the appliance brand to provide a laundry solution to Cleveland Catholic Central High School.
The move, which could inspire those with damaged appliances to invest in
Whirlpool parts for their washing machine, was made to resolve the issue of a lack of on-site facilities that meant students had to take uniforms home to be cleaned.
Commenting on the news, president and principal of the school Karl Ertle thanked the people behind the scheme for the "wonderful gifts", which also included two 37-inch LG flat screen TVs.
"We are very grateful for Rent-A-Center's Random Acts of Caring program and that our school was selected as the June recipient."
