Fridges stay cool in stainless steel finish

Kitchen appliances such as fridge-freezers that are finished in stainless steel will always remain in fashion, according to one expert.
In an article for mlive.com, Elgin Nichols of US-based Nichols' Appliances states that silver kitchen appliances have been the minimalist choice for most people over the years and this is unlikely to change.
He states that very often shoppers looking to overhauls their entire kitchen will look for such models and that this proves stainless steel appliances have "always been in and … will always be in."
"On many remodels, people replace stainless with stainless. White has been in forever. If you don't go upscale, go with white," he advises.
A range of American-style fridge-freezers are available in stainless steel and for those with more daring kitchen design plans, Smeg offer a range of more-brightly coloured options.
Cnet.co.uk reports that the manufacturer recently teamed up with designer Marc Newson for a successful range of retro ovens.
