Miele launches large capacity washers and dryers

24/04/2008
Miele has released a new line of large capacity washing machines, to cater for different textiles.

The 10kg to 32kg machines have different programmes for bedding, table linen and kitchenwear, reports CatererSearch.

One programme uses a thermal disinfector at a temperature of 90 degrees to increase the hygiene of the wash.

The website reports that the washing machines are "packed with features" to cut the use of water and detergent and to save time, which means a monetary saving.

Miele also has a line of tumble dryers which cater drying times to the type of fabric and so reduce the time it takes.

Some of the models use electronic moisture sensors to make sure washing is not over-dried, with others recycling 60 per cent of the air used, to increase energy efficiency.

In related news, Miele has just been praised as creating "the best oven in the world", with the appliance featuring 100 automatic cooking options.
