Comet to provide Leeds with home appliances

24/04/2008
A Comet store is set to re-open in Leeds, providing the city with a range of appliances from major brands.

Included in the shop will be home appliances from Maytag, Miele and Rangemaster, with the store having over 2,500 products on offer, reports PCRetail.

The store will be located in Crown Point Retail Park and will open officially on May 10th.

Comet has planned a week's worth of events to celebrate the launch.

Mark Kenny, the storage manager, told the website: "The new team has had intensive product training and will be on hand to offer ideas and guidance when choosing between different products.

"We're confident that customers will notice a real difference between this store and other electrical retailers in the area."

Comet claims to be the second largest electrical retailed in the UK and operates in 12 European countries.
