Indesit launches first appliance range in India

Indesit has launched its first complete range in India, including the moon washing machine.

The leading appliance manufacturer aims to cater to the high-end home appliances sector, with its range of stand-alone and built-in products, reports IndiaPRWire.

ETA Star Appliances has launched the range with Indesit and will market and distribute all the products.

The range consists of the front loading Moon washing machine, frost-free and double door fridges, combined fridge-freezers and dishwashers.

Mr Simone Galeazzi, managing director of Indesit in the Asia and Pacific region, said: "Indian consumer market is at its prime and we are happy to launch the Indesit range of home appliances today.

"Our products will offer to India state of the art products with exquisite styling and finish. With our marketing partner ETA Star Appliances, we are sure that our products will reach as many locations and customers."

The consumer durables market is growing at about 20 per cent a year and is soon to reach $7 billion (£3.5 billion).
