Dirt Devil launches efficient vacuum

Dirt Devil is debuting its first cordless vacuum cleaner that uses 70 per cent less energy and has an extended battery life, reports Home and Garden.

For people who need to clean on the go and without the hassle of cords and outlets, the Dirt Devil AccuCharge hand and stick vacuums are the first cordless vacuums to receive the Energy Star label for its efficiency ratings.

According to Doug Sandler, director of product development at Dirt Devil, the efficiency of the device will be perfect for the eco-minded consumer.

"With energy costs and global warming top-of-mind for consumers, Dirt Devil is committed to offering solutions that help consumers conserve energy, improve the quality of our environment while saving money and improving performance."

The cleaner has a powerful 15.6 volts of suction power and convenient power tool options such as the QuickFli Crevice Tool onboard and the Retractable Bristle Strip, plus a three-year warranty.
