Residents in the south of England are being encouraged to vacuum clean their homes in order to keep fit and healthy.
Nutritionists and fitness professions, who are part of Sevenoaks country council's Healthy Lifestyles project, will be touring the areas to teach residents the health benefits of cleaning, reports the News Shopper.
The team will show people that by vacuuming a little faster they can have stronger bones and muscles.
Councillor Felicity Broomby, the cabinet member for health, told the newspaper: "The team will show people that simple, easy to manage changes to daily routines and eating habits can be made today which will lead to a healthier, fitter body in the future."
The scheme follows news last week that cleaning can be beneficial to people's mental health.
A survey from the British Journal of Sports Medicine suggested that just 20 minutes of sustained exercise per day, which includes cleaning, can help depression.
