New quieter model launched by Samsung

13/03/2008
Samsung has launched a new quieter vacuum cleaner model, the Silencio.

The new bagless cylinder cleaner is quieter than a Dyson and is designed so that the hovering will not interrupt other household activities, reports Pocket-lint.

With new technology on board the vacuum boasts a HEPA 13 filter, meaning air returned to the room is filtered, while it also uses silver nano technology.

The system uses the anti-bacterial properties of the metal to filter the cleaner and prevent build up of bacteria and odours.

In addition the cleaner uses Samsung's multi chamber system meaning suction power is not lost the longer the vacuum is run.

With a handle control system the model reduces the need to reach down and alter the suction power.

The model has yet to hit the UK market, reports the website, but is expected to retail for around £169 when it does.
