Bosch adds new circular saw to range
12/03/2008
Bosch has added to its power tools range with the release of a handheld circular saw.
The saw has been designed to have a "superior line of sight, power and durability", according to Tooling Online.
As 87 per cent of people involved in construction industry is right handed, the saw has been designed with a left hand blade to increase accuracy.
The blade position also enables more comfort, according to the website, than is afforded on most sidewinder-style circular saws.
Bosch's C25 also claims to be the fastest cutting saw in its class, with 6,200 rpm.
This power will enable it to cut through dense materials, but the presence of the anti-snag lower guard means it can cut through thin materials rapidly too.
With a suggested retail price of $99 (£49) the saw is "poised to quickly achieve best-in-class status", says the website.
Bosch has recently launched an all-in-one power tool aimed at DIY addicts which can work with wood, metal and plastic.
