Electra launches retro fridges

29/01/2008
A cheaper alternative to an expensive retro fridge has been launched by Electra, reports one website.

Electra has launched two fridges, the E7316 and E7681, which both have a retro appearance, with the former model offering a variety of colours.

Both fridges boast an A* energy rating, glass shelves, a wine rack which can hold five bottles and a large 220-litre capacity, according to website Retro To Go.

The EC7316 model is available in cream, silver, black and duck egg blue, while the other model is only available in cream.

One model offers anti-bacterial lining giving lifetime protection against germ build-up and the other has a meat box; both have a fridge and freezer.

The website says that the models offer a cheaper alternative to the traditional retro Smeg fridges, priced at £499.

Electra says it offers contemporary design and state of the art technology in its products, while also having a focus on being energy and water efficient.
