Microwave Guide - Maintenance Guide
Microwave Maintenance Guide
Unlike conventional heat, which can be felt on the surface of the skin, microwaves cook by agitating particles in the food. This means their heating effects are harder to detect before damage is done.
If the door does not latch properly or the door seals appear loose, do not use the oven and contact a qualified repairer. Because of the high voltages inside, you should never remove the main cover of a microwave oven.
Regularly
Unplug unit. Do not use abrasive products as they may damage surfaces. Make sure turntable and rotating ring are clean.
Check door not damaged or misaligned
If door is damaged, or gap is uneven, microwave radiation may escape. Contact a qualified repairer.
Check door lock mechanism
Oven should not operate while door is open. If it does, turn off and unplug oven immediately. Then contact a qualified repairer.
