how do you remove the brush for cleaning?

The brush has stopped spinning, and I have taken off the cover plate, but can't get the brush out. There is a bracket holding it in place, which I assume should pop off somehow, but I can't get it off, so can't get to the belt or to clean the brush itself. Any help appreciated! thank you.

  • Very difficult, this does not seem to be made with cleaning in mind, only with (expensive) replacement. I found hair and such like gets wrapped around the brush and finally jams it. All I could do was cut through the hair with a knife and pull it out, not 100% successfully. Like you,I found it impossible to remove the brush for cleaning.
