Will this stop my electrics tripping out when I turn the oven on?
Main oven has started tripping my electrics. Grill and top oven all ok. But as soon as the main oven is turned the power trips out.

- your element has shorted to earth replace element
- its the main cooker element has blown,so triping out,i had exactly the same,fitted new one now better than before
- yes it should do. when an element goes it melts together and it could cause a short circuit other causes could be loose wiring on element
- It is possible that the main element has been damaged and it is causing an electrical short. Sometime the circular rigns fuse together and that may cause the short.

Hi Huxley Without actually seeing your oven, it is impossible to tell what is causing this problem.
