Hotpoint WMA63S Washing Machine --- my washing machine is covered by a service plan so I can get the drum bearings removed/ replaced but the plan does not cover the door seal.

I want to replace the door seal as it has become mouldy and smelly. If I purchase a new door seal, would it be an easy job for the service enginer to replace this for me when he has the washing machine apart to change the bearings? -- I would separately pay for this if he was willing to do the job for me. Thank you.

Replacing the bearings requires complete dismantling and therefore fitting a new seal would be a very easy job.
