Hotpoint Aquarius WD540 sealed drum?
I have never attempted anything like this! I am on benefit due to ill health so money is short so I cannot afford an engineer. Watching the video it will take me about a week to do this job! I am concerned after reading Q&A that I may have a sealed drum so buying just bearings would be a waste of money. Can anyone advise please?

If there are no bolts around the centre of the drum you have a welded Tub and the bearings cannot be replaced. It is likely to be cheaper to have a fixed price repair with Repaircare than replace the drum unit
