When i turn the oven on there is a delay thats getting longer before the fan starts. Does this mean it needs replacing?

Answer this Question (2 Answers)

  • A Slower and slower start for the fan was symptomatic of the need for a new one. But beware - the element relies on the airflow to cool it Left un cooled it will eventually blow , as mine did , resulting in another 20 quid down the pan. Change the fan now and you might be lucky. • Sounds like you mighht have a loose conection or it on its way out. I would just wait till it packs in or open up back and check all spade conectors if it is not to much hastle for yourself By mikey - glasgow - 21 September 2011
