How to find your washer's model number

In order to find specific parts for your washing machine, you need to know your model number.

Most washing machines have the rating plate behind the door, either on the inside of the door (don't forget to check near the hinge) or on the door frame of the cabinet. Some hide it behind the kickplate at the base (front) Be careful if removing the front kickplate your machine as they are often thin and the lugs easily break.

If you still can't find it, check behind the pump filter flap or door (if fitted) at the front of the machine. Other than that you would need to check the sides and back of the machine.

Washing Machine model numbers for specific brands

AEG			If making an enquiry, the AEG PNC/ENR number may also be required. It begins with either 9 or a 6 depending on the appliance, and is 9 or more digits long.  AEG washing machine spares are available at eSpares.co.uk.

Hoover			The model number usually begins with a letter and ends in 001 or 011. If making an enquiry also include the cabinet number which begins with 3 and is at least 16 digits long. When you've got your Model number visit the eSpares collection of genuine Hoover washing machine spares.
