Hi, I'm Rory from eSpares.

In this video, I'm going to show you how to replace the filter in this Siemens built-in dishwasher.

The filter's job is to prevent food particles from getting into the inner mechanics of the dishwasher. You'll need to keep your filter in good condition and clean it regularly, so if your filter has become old or damaged you will need to replace it.

Now the filters come in multiple layers, this one is three-layered. There's two layers in this part and there's this outer layer as well. Generally they'll only come as one spare part - you can't buy the two parts separately.

Now, replacing the filter is really, really easy. The first thing you need to do is get rid of the lower tray. We can now just twist out the old one just like that, remove the drain mesh and we will give that a bit of a clean in a second, and then you can take out the old filter part as well. You can now just pop the new filter in and the cleaned mesh, and then finally twist the new filter into place.

Easy as that. Filters for all make and model of dishwasher are available at the eSpares website.

Thanks for watching.
