Hi, I'm Helen from eSpares.
If you find that your dishwasher is leaking from the front, it's probably due to damaged or broken seals. This Bosch dishwasher, like most, has two seals. The first is a three-sided seal which runs up one side, along the top and down the other side, and a lower seal which you can't actually see but it runs along the bottom of the door.
Now the three-sided seal is really easy to replace, and I'm going to show you how to do that in this video. The lower seal is a big job, it requires you removing the whole door, but you can see me do that in another video.
So I'm going to start by removing the baskets. Just pop them to one side, and then I'm going to start easing out the old seal and just pull it all out.
The new seal simply pushes into place, you just need to make sure you get it the right way round. So if you can see, there's this extended lip that needs to be pointing inwards. The seal does come with instructions to guide you. So then I want to leave about 2cm at the bottom, and then just start pushing it into the groove and then I just carry on all the way round and then when we get to the end, we just take a pair of scissors and cut off the excess, remembering to leave a couple of centimetres at the bottom.
Then we just pop the baskets back in and we're good to go. Seals for most makes and models of dishwasher are available of the eSpares website.
Thanks for watching.
