Hi, I'm Rory from eSpares.
If you have a big fridge freezer like this Maytag that has a water and ice dispenser on the front, there will be a water filter inside that needs to be replaced at regular intervals.
Now how often you'll need to replace the filter is dependent on your make and model of fridge but in this Maytag, it's recommended that it should be replaced once every six months. If you don't know how often you should replace your filter, six months is generally a good guide to work with.
Now it's really easy to replace. First you just want to put a piece of paper towel down to catch any excess water, then remove the filter from the locked to the unlocked position, then take it out.
Grab your new filter, remove the cap and then put it in in the unlocked position just like that - and then turn it to lock it. Easy as that.
That's how easy it is to replace a water filter in a fridge freezer. Water filters for most makes and models of fridge freezer are available on the eSpares website.
Thanks for watching.
