A damaged cutting disc on a Flymo Hover mower is dangerous and needs to be replaced, it’s very easy to do - first things first, make sure it’s unplugged.

Grab hold of the impeller and turn the cutting disc anti-clockwise to unlock it, and then remove it. To fit the new one push it back onto the hub and lock it in place by turning it clockwise. Now, if you wanted a longer cut you could put the cutting disc on the other way around, like this, and lock it in place.
